Performance
ProFoam™ is the industry’s first patented nestable foam. It offers a new look in acoustical foam and an attractive and flexible wall treatment for controlling first order reflections. The Variable Depth Air Cavity (VDAC™) offers enhanced absorption over a flat panel. As ProFoam™ is stacked, absorption efficiency increases.
ProFoam™ Tiles are mounted in a 1' x 1' checker board pattern to provide a variable impedance surface, offering moderate passive surround sound. The design attenuates and disperses specular reflections.
The ProFoam™ Tiles in a 1' x 1' checker board pattern offer useful scattering above 1000Hz compared to a flat wall.
The ProCorner™ is an effective way to increase low frequency absorption by increasing acoustical foam thickness in the corner, while visually extending and seamlessly integrating with the Profoam™ wall design. The absorption efficiency of a ProCorner™ extends down to 125 Hz.
Installation
Installation is quick and easy, with enough material to effectively treat a Project Studio up to 14' by 10' by 8'. Simply apply construction adhesive to the foam ridges that contact the mounting surface. Mount the panels 2 to 3 feet above the floor so that the panels provide reflection control in the seated and standing positions. Hold the material in place until the adhesive cures. Available in white, white flec, and gray flec Class A Melaflex™ as well as charcoal gray, blue, and purple Class B/C Polyflex™.
